Making A Purchase
*Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart.
*After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
*We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered and that we are processing your order. This is not an order acceptance from Jazz It Up.
*Order acceptance and the commencement of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it before despatch. The display of items for sale on our website is only an invitation to treat.

Back Orders
Occasionally an item may sell out before we can update the website. Generally these items are already on order with the suppliers and should be back in stock soon. If an item is not in stock we will aim to notify you within 24-48 hours whereby we will offer you the choice of : putting the item on back-order for despatch as soon as it comes into stock, a refund/cancellation for the item or the chance to choose alternative item/s instead. Payment is taken after 5 days if you decide to put the item on backorder.
Tax Charges
All prices include VAT at the current rate.
Credit Card Security
Jazz It Up accepts payments by credit/debit cards (full list below), cheques and postal orders. We use a fully sophisicated on-line processing system for taking credit card payments through Worldpay...one of the worlds largest credit card processing companies.

Guarantee
* We have made every effort to display all our items as accurately as possible. However as colours and images vary depending on your own monitor and browser we can not guarantee that products will be as exactly seen on your monitor. Most products have been described with sizes/lengths given as close to accurate as possible. Handmade products sizes are approximate sizes.

* The display of items for sale on our website is only an invitation to treat. By placing an order you are are making an Offer to buy. Acceptance (and therefore the comencement of our contract) begins once we dispatch your order. You will receive an order acknowledgement email of your order. This does not constitute a contract until we dispatch the order. Jazz It Up can cancel any order it feels fit to do so whereupon all paid monies will be refunded in full, so long as the order has not been dispatched and therefore the contract has not commenced.

* For the large mirrors, hanging brackets are on the mirrors but no wall fixings are included as you should buy the correct wall fixings depending on the style or quality of the wall it is going on as these mirrors are heavy. Some clocks, panels etc come with all the necessary wall fixings included.

* We do not recommend our wall pictures, prints, wooden framed arts, canvases, perspex or clocks for use in bathrooms or outdoors where moisture can affect them. For metal wall art outdoors we recommend a clear metal varnish to enhance protection.

* Fused glass and hand blown glass items are handmade items - no 2 items will be indentical. It is a natural process so bubbles and variaions are all part of the allure o fhand made glass.
Basins only to be used with water direct from the tap (to maximum temperature of 60 degrees centigrade), not boiling water. The use of the spacer collar we sell is highly recommended for all our basins.
We now also have a few designs where you can choose your own colour combinations - cool blue with hot red stripes or shocking yellow with a jazzy orange hoop....the choice is yours. We recommend the lighter colours as main colours as they naturally will not show up as well on a darker main colour when creating swirls or stripes.

* Lifestyle images are NOT to scale

* When ordering bespoke canvas or perspex prints, the customer must be the owner of the image and have permission to have the artwork printed. By placing an order we will assume the customer has the copyrights and correct permissions to the image, and responsibility on this will be bourne by the customer.

* Clocks come with a warranty on the mechanisms. If your mechanism develops a fault, simply let us know and we will post you a replacement one to swap over (very easy to do in minutes). Or you can post it back to us for us to do, and we will cover the postage costs, however, as it is a very easy task with would ask you to try to replace yourself first if possible. * We recommend high quality batteries for use in our clocks....poor quality ones will often struggle to keep time, being either too slow or even too fast!
Telephones have a 1 year warranty on them from date of delivery.

* UK delivery times are normally 3-5 working days.

Bespoke glass basins take 3-5 weeks for delivery.
Deliveries outside the EU will be subject to local import duties/taxes.

* We do not guarantee any delivery times or dates at any time of the year so we recommend you do not book days off work to wait in for parcels. If not in they will try again the next day, or leave with a neighbour or at a post office (if Parcelforce is used)....simply keep an eye out for tracking emails.

* Jazz It up can cancel any order it feels fit to do so whereupon all paid monies will be refunded in full.

* Jazz It Up takes no responsibilty for costs incurred to the customer due to late delivery, for example, please do not book a plumber for the basins till you have received the basin.






WEEE COMPLIANCE

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) laws came into force on 1st January 2007. This legislation is implemented to try and ensure the correct disposal of electrical and electronic products which in turn will prevent them being thrown into Landfills.

The area of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) is a major source of growing waste here in the UK and is increasing at an alarming rate. The UK alone throws away approximately 2 million tonnes of WEEE each year. This legislation will help to reduce this and the harmful effects of lead/toxin contamination which affects humans, wildlife and the environment and its quality of life.

EEE products are marked with a wheelie bin crossed out logo showing that this product, when it comes to the end of its life span, should not be disposed of via your household bins, but be disposed of separately and in accordance with the WEEE legislation so that it can be recycled.

Under the Regulations, the public can dispose of their WEEE in one of the following ways:


(1) They can use our ‘Free Take Back’ service. This works on a like for like basis so should you buy a product from us we are happy to collect the old item from you and dispose of it a local Authorised Treatment Facility. The WEEE that you are replacing must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt of your new product. The product however must be a replacement item for the old product for us to do this, for example a clock for a new clock.

(2) The consumer can look up their own local recycling site and dispose of the WEEE there.

Why do we process personal data?
We need to collect and store your personal information so that we can fulfil your order, and contact you in the event of any query about it. If you have given consent, we also add your email address to our emailing list.

If we have purchased items from you, we need a record of the provenance of those items for security reasons.

What data do we process?
The personal information we collect and store is limited to that shown on our order confirmations and invoices, as follows:
- Your invoice name and address
- Your delivery name and address if different
- Your telephone number
- Your email address
- A list of the items you purchased from us or sold to us

In addition we use Google Analytics, a third party service, to collect data and report statistics about visitors to our website. The data includes:
- The number of visitors to our website and the number of pages viewed
- The number of visitors from different countries and regions
- A list of pages viewed by each visitor and the time spent on each
- The type of device, operating system and browser used by each visitor
Visitors are defined only by masked IP addresses and it is not possible to identify individual persons from this data, and no other personal data is collected. As the data is anonymous it falls outside the scope of the GDPR. Information is stored only on the Google Analytics secure servers.

Online payments and financial data
Online payments are made through the secure website of our Payment Service Provider (PSP). The PSP is Worldpay. Worldpay is PCI-DSS compliant to the highest level, ensuring that your card details are secure. We never see your full card details because you enter them directly through the PSP website.

Offline payments and financial data
We will not collect and store your bank account number or card details. If you pay by cheque we show the cheque number and your branch sort code on our invoice for your reference. If you pay by bank transfer we show the payment reference, if any, on our invoice.

How is personal information stored?
Personal information is stored electronically and is password encrypted to prevent unauthorised access.

Your right to rectification
In accordance with article 16 of the GDPR, if you notice that we have stored any of your personal data incorrectly, please let us know and we will correct it straight away.

How long do we keep your data for?
HMRC rules require us to keep records for at least 7 years after year end. To make sure we comply, we keep sales and purchase details for 8 years before deleting or destroying them.

Your 'right to be forgotten'
In accordance with article 17 of the GDPR, your personal data will be deleted when:
a) The information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or
b) You withdraw consent and there is no other legal ground for processing under Article 6 (see 'Why do we process personal data?' above). To withdraw consent, simply let us know by email, email or phone.

- with carriers such as Yodel or Parcelforce for the purpose of delivery
- with payment service providers as detailed above

Returns Policy
* We offer a simple 14 day returns policy. If any item is not quite what you required then just notify us by email/post (stating reason for return if possible) within 14 days after day of receipt. You will then have a further 14 days to return the item back to us. We will then issue you with either a full refund or allow you to exchange the item for something else instead should you prefer.

* We extend our policy above over Christmas for orders placed between 15 November to 15th December until 31 December, whereby an exchange for something else is offered if you are outside the 14 day period for refunds.

* Please send items back via a signed for postal service for your own proof of delivery. This postage cost is not reimbursed (unless item is damaged/faulty). Hermes courier have very good postage prices or Parcel Monkey / Parcel2go for large items.

* Please check your goods on delivery. If items do arrive damaged/faulty please let us know as soon as possible (and within 7 days at the latest) and arrange to post them back to us via My Hermes courier (simply book it through their website). We will reimburse you these standard delivery return postage costs, but not any extra costs if you decide to return via a premium service offered by a courier ie. Parcelforce 24 or 48 hour, or next day courier etc....you would cover the premium costs over and above the standard Hermes postage costs. If you do not inform us as soon as possible after delivery, then we will have no liability for items said to be damaged/faulty on delivery.

* Returns must be in original condition as you received it.

* Fusion glass items are unique so no 2 items will be identical (please bear in mind if ordering 2 basins for the same bathroom!). Sizes are approximate and may vary very slightly as they are handmade (4% max variance).

* Metal wall art can in some instances vary in colour slightly as some are handpainted/hand finish.

* Items such as clocks, canvas arts and wood/metal backed mirrors are not suitable for bathrooms or water humid rooms.

* Most items are in their own card box, though some may be supplied loose. No item comes in gift packaging or gift box unless stated.

* If returning a glass item, extra insurance would be recommended.

* Jazz It up can cancel any order it feels fit to do so whereupon all paid monies will be refunded in full.
